The Brake Shirt by Story mfg. is inspired by bowling shirts as evidenced by the wide boxy fit that the brand has taken to Big Lebowski levels of relaxed. This extra real estate allows for some fun details to be added, including both internal and external chest pockets and extra rows of stitching throughout the body and sleeves.

As part of Story’s Wonky-Wear collection, this shirt has been manufactured on vintage single needle machines and a looser tolerance for precision has been exercised, resulting in purposely wonky stitching. It adds a human touch that adds some warmth amid the otherwise cold and mass-produced world of garment manufacturing.
